Nigeria preffering female engineers over male engineers

Nigeria's aviation authorities are now going to hire more female engineers over their male counterparts due to the more stability that women professionals bring to the job. According to The Director-General of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Dr. Harold Demuren women stay at the job after going through initial training whereas their male counterparts take up jobs in foreign industries because of higher salries.Demuren said experience in the industry had shown that many male pilots and engineers, even after being trained by Nigeria, ended being poached by foreign countries which offered juicier packages while the females remained stable.
According to him the training authorities have maintained pretty high standards of training but due to the higher pay package foreign industries take all the Nigerian pilots and engineers. SOURCE
