Make Big Buck$$$!!!! Go for Environmental Engineering

Even a fifth grade child today knows the importance of Environment. But choosing your profession related to protecting Environment can pay off in more ways than just protecting Mother Earth. Companies have understood the importance of Environmental Engineers. How??
Take the Example of Toyota, which was never a major automobile maker until it introduced the Hybrid Synergy Drive engine which uses Gas/Electricity combination to power the vehicle. In 2000 Toyota introduced 'Prius' with their new environmental friendly engine while General Motors kept producing SUV's to meet consumer demands. The result: in a few years, with the help of increasing gas prices, Toyota's Prius became so popular that Toyota today is the major competitor for General Motors in respect to leading automobile sales across the planet.
According to Monster.com; data shows a steady increase in the number of environmental job postings since 2005, particularly for engineers, protection technicians and specialists.
This growth has been fueled by economic trends, with many jobs offered in the public sector, including such bureaus as the Environmental Protection Agency. And you no longer need a background in science to join the green job brigade, either. The next decade will see an increase in green job opportunities in law, conservation and urban planning, according to the Environmental Careers Organization (ECO). The following are the career opportunities in the field of Environmental engineering:
Solar Power Engineers
Environmental Engineers
Environmental Scientists
Conservationist Scientist
The last two are not Exactly engineering positions but there is a lot of need in last two because tighter immigration laws for foreign scientists. Also look out for Environmental Engineer salaries to be coming soon in this blog.
